Best Two Deep in the Nation?/2021 Thoughts

Jan 12, 2021, 8:53 AM

Alright, so now that the college football season is officially over (was over for me after our loss against that team up north), it is now time to ponder and speculate about next season. It is becoming increasingly clear to me that we will return almost every starter on defense (Nolan Turner has yet to decide, DK thankfully decided last night to return) and will have depth out the wazoo on defense to help our rotation. On offense, we will return for certain: Ladson, Ngata, Williams, possibly Ross (if he can play) and have one of the best two deep skills positions in college football next year. I am a bit hesitant to pump up the offensive line as I believe some major re-shuffling will be necessary to up their production (the Jackson Carman decision doesn't really hurt IMO). However, if everybody can stay healthy and have a "normal" offseason, I feel extremely confident that we will make another ACC championship game, and have a good shot to win it all. Considering that OSU will be down next year, as well as Alabama with key departures at their skill positions. Let me know what you think?
