Auburn is a pitiful team ...
Sep 4, 2012, 12:27 PM
|

Just ask any SCAR fan ... Auburn is a pitiful team.
Auburn is a pitiful team that SCAR has only beaten once in their entire history and that was in 1933.
Auburn is a pitiful team that has recently won three straight against the best teams that SCAR has ever fielded and has scored a total 106 points in the process.
Auburn is a member in good standing of the mighty SEC ... but they are a pitiful team none-the-less.
Just ask any SCAR fan.

they are beaten by a team from outside their own conference,..... but then the "they've been beaten up by the SEC so that's why they lost" rule comes into play which makes them great again

Yep. The wear & tear from SEC play carries over from 2011
Sep 4, 2012, 12:41 PM
|
|
Even in the season opener, the SEC team that loses to an ACC team is obviously battered from a steady diet of mighty SEC opponents and therefore under-strength and at a disadvantage.
Prime example: SCAR will now be forced to go into their monumental matchup against the ECU Pirates suffering the ill-effects of their draining SEC season opener.
Even practicing against an SEC scout team is an extremely taxing experience.

Louisville lost to NC State in the Belk Bowl

If they don't manage to beat West Virginia (granted, nice upset) they have a losing season last year and don't play in any bowl.

Ouch bet it hurt to say that. Actually I wouldn't be taking crap about them, they have beat Clemson 3 years in a row.

And, seriously ... isn't 4th or 5th in the SEC the equivilent of winning the ACC? I believe I have heard that a few times.

Funny. When other gamecocks make statements about us being ACC champs last year, thats coot logic but now its perfect logic. You're making a really horrible point. There are probably 4 teams in the East that are better than AU.

Of course I believe it. USC, UGA, UT, and Mizzou are all better than AU. Vandy might be. If you thought y'all were playing a good team then you don't know what you're watching. Thats not to take credit from your team. Thats just a fact.

that includes just this past year when you fielded your best squad in history.
SCAR, UGA, UT, Mizzou ... and Vandy are all better than Auburn this year?
These are things you hope. Not things you know.

maybe not, but the team i saw lose saturday night in the dome, would have beaten the team i saw win thursday night in vandy, by at least 3 td's. it wouldn't have been as close as last years victory in columbia, i'm sure.
