Auburn @ Death Valley

Aug 15, 2012, 9:41 AM

Any chance that the powers at Clemson would open up Death Valley and show the Auburn game on the NEW Scoreboard? Could charge a min cost and donate to the local food banks. In Pittsburgh when the Pens are in the playoffs, they erect a huge screen outside for the fans to gather and watch the game..it is really great and they get huge crowds.

Awesome idea, wish they would do it***

If they sell out all the tickets

they might do this in LJC, I know they've shown games in Littlejohn before.

With the incoming Freshmen and so many people that never get the opportunity to come to Death Valley..just throwing this out there. I hate to see negative people saying this would never happen. There is always a first time and this would also give the people operating the scoreboard to give it a good test.

NO chance. They would have to pay ESPN a HUGE

Aug 15, 2012, 11:31 AM

amount of money. So Clemson would have to sell tickets to watch it on the new scoreboard to recoup the costs. Not gonna happen.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

They wouldn't owe ESPN anything unless they actually

Aug 15, 2012, 11:36 AM

sold tickets, right?

And how does that work if they do sell tickets, but the proceeds are charitable?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

BTW, my assumption was that they would just air the ESPN

Aug 15, 2012, 11:37 AM

broadcast.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

really? back in 2006 they showed the Virginia tech game

Aug 15, 2012, 12:44 PM [ in reply to NO chance. They would have to pay ESPN a HUGE ]
