collapse under the weight of it's own Tobacco Road fueled self-righteousness, it pains me to say that I think the Notre Dame deal is a huge win for the conference.

It's also a huge win for Notre Dame.

Is it a huge win for the "football schools" like Clemson, FSU, and VPI... only time will tell. But at least financially I think it probably will be.

I don't understand why ppl hate a school that was forced to be independent by old anti-Catholic bigotry. A school who took that and became a powerhouse and a household name. A school who holds their athletes to high academic standards unlike FSU and never breaks the rules (or at least we don't hear about it).

I'll be cheering for ND against all their non-ACC foes!
