Anyone think we drop some

In the polls? I don't really care about 2nd week polls but I think it will happen. Maybe it will open our eyes. I'll say one thing we are going to get everyone's best this season so we need to fix the kinks quick.

I'm not really worried bc we started off slow last season to. I think we need to get some slants to get Watson in a rhythm and then we can pop those deep passes. Right now I don't like that on 3rd down we have been throwing the deep ball. We did it a few times last week and at least 3 or 4 this week. Our strength is getting 1st downs and moving the chains.

Next week hopefully will be a tune up for GT

I honestly think dropping in the polls is one of the best things that could happen to us right now. FSU and OSU both taking care of business like they should. I say they should both jump is.

They need to be humbled and put in their place IMO. Dropping them a couple spots would do just that. They are not #2 at this point. They certainly can be but not right now.

Agree. I do not understand why we don't shoot for the sticks. Watson is (usually) money on the deep ball, but we NEVER aim for the sticks on 3rd down and I just do not get it! We will clean it up I'm sure

Just basing on the points received in this week's poll and FPI, I could see us dropping to #3 and FSU taking the #2 spot.

But based on "eye test" with no reference to FPI? Here's my way-too-early top 10 for a sad Saturday's eve:

1 FLORIDA STATE
2 OHIO STATE
3 MICHIGAN
4 HOUSTON
5 ALABAMA
6 WISCONSIN
7 WASHINGTON
8 LOUISVILLE
9 CLEMSON
10 STANFORD

And that hurts to even write.
