I could see that happening, but not so sure it will. We will definitely find out just how good these teams actually are in games to come!

VT has one of the best defenses in the country. Their offense has held them back, but is slowly making strides as "the tall one" quit making silly mistakes and throwing interceptions. The ACC could have four 10+ win teams at the end of the season. That would be pretty cool.

Va. Tech

10/26- Duke
11/2- at Boston College
11/9- at Miami
11/16- Maryland
11/23- BYE
11/30- at Virginia

I could see VT dropping a game at BC. But I think they win the other ones. They could drop one, beat Miami and win the division due to tiebreaker.

Miami:

10/17- at UNC
10/26- Wake
11/2- at FSU
11/9- Va. Tech
11/16- at Duke
11/23- Virginia
11/30- at Pittsburgh

Miami obviously has a more difficult road. They could lose at FSU, yet beat VT and still win their division. But that road trip to Pittsburgh looks dangerous at the end of November. Even if Miami beats VT, they could lose to FSU and potentially one other and be left out.

Miami/VT will be a big game. But the games they have the week before (VT at BC; Miami at FSU) may leave them with one loss each.

By comparison, I think it's pretty safe to say that the winner of Clemson/FSU will be in the ACCCG. Hard to see either team dropping 2 after that.
