Anybody catch Finebaum on CFB live talking about Briles?

Bashing the crap out of Briles after the "Apology". Not saying he's wrong, BUT, anyone else wonder if Briles had been a coach in say the SEC W, does Finebaum have the same tone?

See pollak get all defensive with the lame "don't judge"

line, when the entire segment was based around each panelist rendering their judgement. So if your judgement isn't what he wants to hear, "don't judge". So lame.

Finebaum's job these days is to promote the SEC. So he loves all the SEC coaches. He really likes Mason, Stoops, and Builima, thinks Butch Jones hung the moon, believes Sumlin and Jones are hall of famers, loves McIlwain and Smart as Saban mini-mes, talks about how much he respects Hugh Freeze and says over and over that Boom has already proven he is a good coach. He really respects Les Miles. And of course Saban is the best coach in the history of sport. The only folks he does not run up and hug are Malzahn and whoever it is coaching at Missouri.
Since Finebaum is paid to support the SEC, this is about what everyone should expect despite the fact at least half those fellows will be fired in less than 3 years.

If Finebaum had a son, I'd bet dollars to donuts the kids could not play tiddly-winks. Finebaum is one of those terribly uncoordinated guys who is embarrassing to watch. If he was swinging in slow pitch softball, I promise you'd turn your head and look away for all three strikes.

You must never listen to Finebaum. He literally bashes sec coaches all the time. Him and Spears called for Les miles to be fired on Monday. He said malzahn was dumb for running a 3 qb system against us. Heck, over the summer he bashed saban for the way he handled the cam Robinson situation. He will let a coach have it if he thinks the coach did something wrong, especially sec coaches because he talks about them the most.
If you listen to Finebaum every day, you would realize he just doesn't blindly pump sec all the time. He puts the sec teams in their places just as much as he praises them.

him upset Nick Saban with some of his questions face to face before. I think he believes the rest of the country are peasants in the SEC Kingdom but he will jump off any bandwagon like it's on fire to through anybody under the bus like most media. He just does it quicker to make a splash

No.
After Finebaum went after Saban for not punishing those two players who were arrested in the offseason, I gained a new respect for him. I'm still not a fan, but I feel better about him. If he would go after his idol, Nick Saban, he's not going to pull punches on a coach who ignored sexual assaults in order to win football games.
