An Alabama recruit shares his interesting perspective on things

Mar 16, 2017, 10:42 PM

Hmm......if "ifs and buts" were candy and nuts, everyday would be Christmas.
This article certainly provides some nice comic relief today.

http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2017/03/former_tide_signee_the_hulk_st.html

I"I just thought to myself that I could've been there. I could have been the one smacking Deshaun Watson around. I did cry after the loss. I knew how much that game meant to them, but I thought to myself, 'Dang, maybe it would have been different if I could have been out there.'"

He cried live on instagram for like 35 people. What?

They were one recruit away from beating us I guess. #### academics got in the way...he must have failed name writing to be ineligible down there. I would have loved to see our OL sledding his limp ### into the end zone on snap 90.

I didn't think academics counted in the SEC.

I assumed he was not the sharpest knife in the drawer -- I mean a football player that cannot get into the University of Alabama, really? -- but this quote confirms it:

"I cried on Instagram Live in front of like 35 people," Jones joked with SEC Country. "Those refs cheated my boys. I was just looking up everything in the rule book to blame it on those refs.

How rich is that, Bama guy accusing another program of cheating to win. Ha, ha, ha, ha ....

Plus, the article uses the wrong score (they use the 2016 National Championship game score in which Clemson lost to Alabama), not the 35-31 score:

"That is why former Alabama signee Kendell Jones cried after Alabama's 45-41 loss to Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship."

Maybe it was a Freudian slip, the Bama writers knows we beat them the prior year too - everywhere but the scoreboard.

Maybe the Coots could recruit him.At least there he wouldn't have to remember the score.
All he would have to do is set his set his alarm clock to 6:o4!

Our country won't go on forever, if we stay soft as we are now. There won't be any America because some foreign soldiery will invade us and take our women and breed a hardier race.

And that my friends is why Bama signs up 25 every year.

Because the quality of the student is lacking and they expect a bunch of them to not make it in.
