Pittsburgh scored 43 on us. Virginia Tech scored 35 on us in the ACC Championship.

Going into the playoffs I was concerned.

But then we won the national championship.

Also, beat our rival by 46 that year.

That's what all this is about. Who it was that we played. Had the scores of the FSU and SC games were switched around, it would be all roses. People wouldn't have been nearly as loud about giving up 35 against FSU. We can't live with the fact that every team on our schedule played #### near their best game against us.

People wanted coots to be humiliated. And they should be because that defense looked worse than Wake Forest. It just isn't going to happen that way every year. SC came in fired up and played a good game. Give them props for not rolling over and being ####### like they've been the last 5 years.

Than the 2016 unit.
But SCAR was better offensively for one game with the ‘kitchen sink’...especially better than they were 2 years ago. Kudos to them.
This year’s defense is still better than 2016...and by this coming Sunday, we’ll all remember that again.
