I went out to supper with some friends last night

And one of them mentioned that one of our mutual friends was having a bad case of hives. The woman with the hives had taken steroids, antibiotics, and had allergy tests done but can't figure out what is causing them and why they won't go away. Then she said the hive woman had gotten her Chakra released, and that she felt it helped so she was going to do it again.
She said this right after, an in the same tone, as having allergy tests done. Like its completely normal and its an accepted treatment..for pretty much everything.
I'm like "uhhh...WOT? Getting her wut released? Does this have something to do with her virginia?"
WT actual eff is this all about? Have you people ever heard of this nonsensical mumbo jumbo? I looked it up and all I found was something about crystals and essential oils.
What causes women to believe this crap works?

I mean realigning chakras is something we definitely do inpatient in hospitals for hives all the time. To really have a good outcome, Jupiter has to be in regression and you should charge your amethysts with the light of a Harvest moon.
