by either Auburn or LSU, unless the game is a absolute blow-out, NO WAY the committee drops Bama out of the top four and even that's a stretch.

Auburn, FSU, LSU are top level opponents. Good opponents- Tenn, TAM, Ark. Middle class of Vandy, ole miss, col st. Fresno st has been good in last, not sure how long ago that was scheduled. It's not a cherry schedule unless that's your code word for tough.

Do we have teams that we play that balance out LSU? We have an easy schedule too, if we beat Auburn. FSU, and Louisville. Ours is easier possibly.

so you would have to rate them ahead of a few SEC teams. We both play FSU and Auburn. I say Lville is better than LSU, Ed Orgeren isn't head coach material. We also play Va Tech. And if we make it to the ACC championship game, that's another quality opponent. We know Bama won't be playing a quality opponent in the SEC championship game.
So in summary Bama's tough games are FSU, LSU, and Auburn. Clemson's tough games are FSU, Auburn, Lville, Va Tech, and The Citadel in the state championship game (remember they recently beat an SEC team the last time they played one).
