Advice for watching the game outside the US

Fellow T-netters, I'm hoping I can get some advice. I travel to Europe from time to time, usually in Denmark. I have tried to watch games on my ESPN app in the past without success. I guess access is restricted outside the US.

I'm in Paris for the following week and hope to watch the BC game (2:00 am Sunday local time). I have heard you can get around the issue by using a VPN connection... but haven't had any luck making that work.

If anyone has had experience with this, please share. Merci beaucoup.
