Pitt here. While our D is probably enough to win the game, the answer is no. Play Watson, get the game in hand, put in backups.

Well, yeah, Pitt was expected to be much better than them

And Pitt is much better than USC. I'm not really sure where the idea that they're on the same level as Wake, USC, or Syracuse came from.

Uhh no. I don't want to test the theory that we can lose

and still make it into the playoff. Maybe Nick could lead us to a W in his place, but he's never been in that situation before. I don't think he's ever taken a snap in a game that wasn't already decided.

DW sitting for a game? You are kidding me,right?

This is so funny I think I just peed a little bit. DW fell awkwardly with defenders on him and 1 play later he pointed to his shoulder and left the game. Then halfway through the 3rd quarter he is seen laughing and joking with his teammates on the sideline. Now everybody wants to make a story where there isn't one. DW is fine and out of respect for a good team in Pitt, DW will play and hopefully play at his best. This season is not automatic, the Tigers need to strive to play great football and win these games against teams who would do anything to knock off the #2 team in the country. And yes I despise a man who refers to himself as the crusty substance located in my nostrils! Go Tigers, ALL IN, and BEST IS THE STANDARD!!!

"Watson, I'm gonna let you run down with the seniors today since you're graduating and all, but do it without pads on..."
LMAO! How did this even become a question?!?
Maybe this was a practical joke media tip off by Wilkins?

They should roll Watson down the Hill in one of those giant inflatable balls in order to avoid injury. Let him go out to take the coin toss and then just let him watch the game from his gerbil ball.

These folks just need something to talk about ...

... there is no way Deshaun Watson doesn't start this weekend and play until the game is well in hand. And the same holds true for the Wake and SCAR games.

It's a championship game. No way DW4 is on the sidelines, at least not until the 2nd half. If he needs rest, wait until WF.

It's stupid that this question is even asked. If he can play, he plays. This is a good opponent.

This is a call that the coach should make after consulting with the medical staff and, in no way, should the media even be involved in this discussion. They have no idea of the nature of the injury and should have no thoughts on DW's involvement in the game. Coach S has proven on many occasions that he will always do what is best for the player
The experts should be questioning other things in sports like the unreal acts that have occurred in Chepel Hill! Ever heard that talked about on espin?
