About some of the "sports writers" opinions and predictions. In respect with what Coach Swinney said today in regards to writers responsibility to report in a truthful manner, let's put this in perspective. At best, writers and commentators prediction success throughout a typical year will not exceed 65%. This means they are wrong 35-40% of,the time. How many of us would be safe in our jobs if we only preformed at 65%? I am certain that the coaching staff at Clemson would be concerned with their futures if they only won 65% of the games year after year. So yes, I agree with Coach Swinney that reporters and commentators should be measured with the same criteria of success" in regards to,predictions and honest reporting.
Completely agree . However , they are blab-experts ...so I suspect their job performance is really only measured on whether or not they can talk without stuttering while looking into a camera lens.
