"I have no fear of competition. So let the speculations die..." I would hope that we would still take a kid of this caliber. Especially considering you never know what will happen with other kids academically etc. I admire that attitude, not being scared of having to earn a spot on the depth chart. I wish him well either way...unless he is playing us. Just wish we could have he, Gallman and Dye.

thats a dang good point. he could play D and still be taught real well on the Off side. just in case we might need or could use him as a RB. cuz he can play very well on either side of the ball.

He is listed on D as well. This is why I don't like promises (to Gallman). No way should anyone be turning this kid down....STUD. then again we already have 2 studs but he may be best all purpose back of the bunch.

No he has never been UGA bound. He has said in interviews that clemson and geogia both present great opporitunity and that he favors no one.

Kamara went to Clemson with a commitable offer and left without one. Got to be somewhat disappointing for the kid. Thus the "it went ok" comment wouldn't be a surprise.
That said there is something to be said about sticking to your word. Dabo has a history of shooting straight with recruits. If he tells them we are taking 1 we generally take 1. We told the DE we were taking 3 and shut off DE recruitment once we got 3. It is all part of the commitment being a 2 way street.

I agree that we stick to our word unless Gallman agrees otherwise. If he has the same attitude as Kamara he won't have a problem. Shouldn't want to be handed a spot. I'm just greedy and want them all!
