All this FG talk got me thinking a/b walk-off FGs by Clemson

Oct 18, 2016, 12:42 PM

kickers. Here's my list. I am sure some are missing, but it's hard to find box scores from the olden days.

2012 LSU (Catman; Peach Bowl)
2011 Wake Forest (Catman; won the Atlantic Division title in Death Valley)
2007 @ USuCk (Buchholz in Cootlumbia)
1986 @ Georgia (Treadwell does it again)
1985 @ VT (Treadwell's first apperance as a Tiger)

A few I thought would make this list, but there was still time remaining on the clock after the kick: Texas A&M (2005), USuCk (2000 - The Catch II), NC State (1997), and Georgia (1987).

Anyone have others?

I remember that 2005 TaM game. We had like 6 field goals

& the most heartbreaking miss had to be Jad Dean's against

USuck! It never should have come down to that because RM was rested and gashing them for huge rushing yardage! Jad had struggled all year. Huge disappointment.

was the south carolina game the one where Todd Ellis

I found this article on that game. With Georgia up 19-17 in the 4th, it looks like Nealon ran out of bounds on 4th down short of the line to gain with just under 2 mins remaining.

They must not have had the line to gain marker close enough to the field! :)

Couple of games from 1991

Oct 18, 2016, 2:32 PM

GT missed FG at end of game to give us 9-7 victory.

Same year we kick FG to tie UVA 20-20.

Not sure if time was left on the clock after either kick.

8 seconds left in the GT game when Sisson missed the FG.

jtiger1 posted this last week...there was 1 second remaining after UVA missed their FG

During James Davis freshman year, we had a late fg to win
