How many scholarships available?

A lot. We have 27 JRs on scholarship right now.

Some of them will leave early after this season and we may fill some of those spots with '18 guys, but some of our current sophomores will leave early after next year as well. It's going to be a big class next year.

The good news is that 2018 will likely be the last small class at Clemson for the next few years. The class of 2019 should be pretty large.

Right now Clemson has 27 juniors or redshirt juniors. Even if some leave early after the 2017 season Clemson will likely sign a class of 20 plus.

There is also some speculation that the NCAA is likely going to pass a rule this year limiting signing classes to no more than 25 players in a single year as opposed to the 28 rule that currently exists.

However, teams will still be permitted to back date any early enrollees.
