15-0. Come on, who wants to dream big this football season?

Feb 26, 2018, 5:14 PM

Dabo and company will play one game at a time and will have their season goals laid out very clearly... win the opener, win the division, win the State Championship, etc.

But let's go ahead and put it out there... who wants to do something that no other college football team in the last 50 years done?

Go 15-0.

The only thing sweeter would be to add... Our #1 D holding opponents scoreless and blanking CFP and National Championship opponents.

Dream Big, Tigers! Dream Big.

If it’s ever going to happen this should be the year.
Our regular season should be a cake walk.
On D we should be the best in the nation and our O is stacked 2 deep

Have you considered

who our starting QB will be? I've heard there may be a competition this spring

For myself, I don't see it as a dream, I see and believe we have the talent that brings NC to a school. I see enough talent at Clemson to be 15-0 winning the ACC championship, winning against who ever we play in the playoffs, and I'm looking forward to watching us win the 2018 National Championship Game. The only way this don't happen in 2018, it will be bc a coach or coaches letting their hard heads get in the way and refuse to do what is best for our team as a whole!!! The talent is at Clemson to win it all, and we will have to use it all regardless if someone has to have their feeling hurt in the process!!! Leave fall practice with everybody understanding that no starting position is guaranteed past a series that they screwed up bc of a mental break down. Mental break downs can't and won't win championships. Get your mistakes corrected by the next game, or someone else will be playing that position. No player is perfect, but no one player can be allowed to do the same things wrong, just play to what they are capable to play, and that will take away the mistakes they make!!!

Certainly a possibility, but the Tigers have to better prepared against 'Bama (come on, you know this is coming) and they have to perform much better on offense. Also, avoid dumb-arse upsets. Syracuse and Duke visit Death Valley this year. I want to see total slaughters in each game. Syracuse for football payback. Duke for basketball payback.

15-0 isn't a dream... 15-0 is a reality that could happen, this is one of the easiest seasons we will have and mixed in with the best roster Clemson has ever had it would be strange to see us lose this year before the playoffs and I personally think only we could beat ourselves.

And how many times in the past has a Clemson team looked past an easy game?
And if you beat yourself it's still a loss!
And if you lose in the playoff's you go home!

I'll stick with Dabo's approach. There are too many intangibles in a season to look past even one game.

Don’t know what led to leftie’s low pulse, but on this matter I agree.
As Dabo has consistently stated, we never assume a predictable conclusion to any game...and we never look past the team we’re playing.
I’ll stick with Dabo’s approach too.

That's possible, Saban could demand a rematch, and he may get it.

Have to qualify that statement. No Division 1 team. Several

Feb 27, 2018, 1:22 PM

lower division teams have done it, most recently the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, in 2016. Salute! That's an accomplishment, I don't care what division it is in.
