###, people???

As soon as the "Clemson-Oregon Orange Bowl" predictions came out, all I've seen around here is a bunch of "Oh no! Not Oregon! They'll kill us! It will be WVU all over again!"
What a bunch of wussies you people are! A couple weeks ago, we were confident in taking on anybody in the NC game. Now we're scared of a big-boy BCS match up???? Gimme a break!
This is what comes with being a top-10 team: Big matchups against other top-10 teams. What were you expecting....an easy bowl game against a sun belt team? Or maybe Northern Illinois, so everybody can talk about how it was a joke of a BCS game (See FSU, last season)
Clemson-Oregon would be a great matchup, especially with only 1 loss for each team. This would be yet another chance for us to make a statement against another big-boy team from a different region of the country. I say bring em on!
Instead of fearing "WVA part 2," why not look forward to a potential "LSU part 2?" Personally, I can't think of a better way for Tajh to end his career
GO Tigers!

day, we'll play em night. Will kick their ####. Bring on any team (excluding FSU) because we ain't skeered. In all seriousness, I cannot imagine us hesitating against any team in the country at any time. Lord I hope not.

I agree; lets beat the coots and a big boy team in the Orange Bowl and wash some of the stain of the FSU game away.

Let's man up a bit. Who really knows how good they are until they are measured against the good teams. Not saying I think we could beat Oregon but I'd much rather be in the OB then the CFA bowl again.q

For the fans and the Orange Bowl. Given the way the OB could promote the matchup of the two offenses, I can't think of a better matchup for the OB.

Prior to this post, I counted something like 44 posts in this thread.
Excluding the 4 posts made by you, 2013, and myself, that leaves about 40 posts.
By my rough count there are only 7 of them with comments resembling any sort of "oh no" opinion, but at least 2 of those were basically repeats by the same guys.
That leaves 5 posters out of about 40 that made "oh no" comments. 13%.
The opening post stated:
"all I've seen around here is a bunch of 'Oh no'!"
Care to explain how 13% can be considered "all"?

Don't want to play the West Virginias, Northern Illinois, or Fresno States of the world.
1. Can't get fired up about playing them.
2. If you win, so what? Yay, we beat Northern Illinois in the Orange Bowl. Woo. Hoo. How does that even count as the Orange Bowl? That's like winning the Humanitarian Bowl.
3. If you lose, it is HUMILIATING.
If we play an Oregon, or A&M, it would be something to look forward to. No shame in losing to a good team. And if you win, it is great.

however, if successful, then I'd say bring 'em on.
The greatest generals always want a shot at the most formidable foes, because they know the highest laurels come from being called the best among the best. They, also, know that playing up to competition serves to strengthen, while the obverse serves to weaken.
