From the article, "Also, Danny Pearman is returning home, having been hired by Swinney, and will coach tight ends and tackles." According to the article, Pearman is not going to coach special teams.

B/c he's been under Beamer, and they can split things

up a little bit so that Powell doesn't have to focus on all of them and so that Pearman wouldn't have to focus on all of them. It's a smart move. Dynamic, flexible, knowledgeable guys that can coach the heck out of their positions, and can help with special teams.

Hey Hood,
You might want to use Wikipedia as a source if you are going to take direct lines off Chavis' bio......Just a thought....

We need someone who has the intensity as Dabo to lead the defense I dont think Chavis will be the man.

he's coaching the db's. he's not the d coordinator. so technically he's not leading the defense. im sure dabo we'll make the right hire.

Let Dabo pick his team. His insticts have been good so far. If he prays about things like I think he does God didn't open this door so he could fail. He was put into this position to succeed and we should all be praying for him wisdom to establish his new staff with the right foundation. If he truly "keeps his eye on the Lord" he will always prosper and Clemson will be the beneficiary of that success.

No question in my military mind that Coach Dabo is on a smooth glidepath. Let's all maintain a positive attitude. airborne

did you look it up? He also plays in the SEC....unlike some of the other top DC. Suck.A...Tennessee was almost #1 this year in 3 and outs.....their offense was pathetic.

I hope the risk that terry don has taken pays off. If not, you got to question his decision making. Does anyone else feel uncertain about our future? I certainly do!
