Happy to see two of my former teammates receive the notariety they deserve. Marion arrived in the same recruiting class in 1970 and was a standout talent from day one. Tough, smart and resilient, he excelled on the field and in the classroom. He later carried his talent to the NFL while playing for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Peanut Martin arrived in Clemson a couple of years later and although not an imposing figure physically, the long and lean safety would literally knock your head off! He became a student of the game and flew all over the field as if his very large & impressive "Fro" was on fire!

Welcome back guys!! Always Tigers, always Brothers, and congratulations on being named Honorary Captains.

I remember well, Peanut. Even as a young child, I remember his name being announced way to often on running tackles, being he was playing safety. ?? Congrats man!
