to run the ball more, especially for the first few games. I bet our stable of rbs are going to have some monster games.

i think Frank , Joe and the other less experienced guys are going to surprise a few people outside of Clemson .
Amari is a known and he's really really explosive when healthy .

With a nasty running game, just causes the defense to pick their poison/stay honest even more. We just need to have more yards total and higher scores.
And, plus 1 for talking football

You may be right, but don't forget we are also starting almost an entirely new offensive line as well.

Down-hill run blocking

Yes the OL has a lot of new faces, but run blocking is easier than pass blocking as long as Tony doesn't try to get cute. Go with force instead of finesse. Fire the start gun and go!
Pass blocking requires more timing and picking up stunts take practice and communication. We will be fine for a few games while the new gang grows into a machine.

Why?? Feed the young guys the ball and build confidence for the season. Keep the offense balanced and trust the talent.
5 years ago we brought in 5 star receivers and expected them to have an immediate impact. Now we think that none of the 3 on the roster are ready? Building a program means you have quality depth, but you can't win championships without an influx of young talent.
2016 - Hearn, Renfrow, Lawrence, Wilkins, Ferrel
2018 - Lawrence, Terrell, Simmons, Higgins, ETN

I think we pass the same amount as well. We also have the TE to use now too.

load the box, we'll make them pay with the play action. I think play calling also has a lot to do with how good our offensive line is this year.

I went to a booster club meeting after the announcement of Ross’ surgery and they said given our depth at running back there is really only one option
Phommachan will challenge Trevor and probably play half the games in the new scheme.

Is more important than third down conversions and, at that, the Tigers must be good. Dabo knows this too,

Sorry, I don't buy any of that. No matter where it came from. If he plays half the games it will be the half that we are already ahead by 30.

But we’ll be running the wishbone (I had to hide the info in a picture above to keep other schools from knowing and now you gave it away - or did I)

Yep it will be mop up duty for the backup QB’s after Trevor has us up by 30 points or more.....could be by 2nd quarter in some of our games though with Lawrence done for the game by halftime.....should be fun to watch and hope we get to do it.....Go Tigers!!!!

I am thinking Galloway and Lay are going to provide a potent one two punch at tight end.
