Will give it the sniff test after it cools down and gets opened. Should be fine for a while but maybe shelf life cut in half or so?

already expired because he got a good deal on it. And by expired, I mean expired like a year before buying. I am sure Mom has some of that still laying in a cabinet somewhere.
I agree with Dad in that some expiration dates are unnecessary, but he took it to the extreme sometimes.

Mine never gets old as I use it a lot. I ran out, called neighbor and she says she has some. I went over and that bottle was brown as muddy water. LOL.

Throw it away and start over or just put in the fridge and drink it. I left a gallon of milk out all night a few weeks back though and I put back in the fridge and drank it later. All was good.

is “nearly” aseptic (not that it is). Product pasteurized, clean & unopened package, small temperature rise for short period of time. Good to go!
Did you also buy toilet paper _ kind of a precautionary check.

You think milk (and other cold foods) is always in 45 degrees or below before it gets to your fridge?
