Tough road loss to a good team, BUT, I wish I could make

horrendous errors that affect results day after day like these refs and still keep my job. Something really should be done. The bar is waaaayyyy too low.

The refs decided toward the end of the first half

that they needed to take over. We got the short end of that stick. We also didn't rebound well. At least we played hard though.

There are so many bad foul calls both ways I don't know what to think really. Holmes was called for two fouls where he didn't touch the opposing player, and then blossomgame gets three free throws when the Virginia guy didn't touch him either. I'd rathe them just take all three of those calls out of the game and there would be no discussion...

That really wasn't a poorly officiated game....***

We shot 6 free throws total. We can't blame that game on the refs, but it was poorly officiated. Unfortunately, that is becoming more the rule than the exception.

We also shot 24 3's out of 53 total shots.

You tend to draw less shooting fouls when you take nearly half of your shots from beyond the 3 point line. I didn't see anyone complaining about terrible officiating when Duke only took 7 FTs against us. We weren't really that aggressive about going inside, especially from Holmes and Roper. Don't take the FT discrepancy out of context. They pushed the ball into the paint more where a higher percentage of fouls are likely to happen.
