One of the greatest drummers in an amazing band.. I know many of you can tell tales if seeing the Allmans at LJ.

Worst show I ever saw and left early. Do't think it was all original band members then though, but it sounded lifeless and muddied and the continuous jams just sounded amateurist. Wish I could have watched them in the heyday.

If you went in 1990 the only guys you missed were Duane Allman and Berry Oakley. They have both been dead since 71, 72. Could have been an off night or a real F@cked up night! The music that was coming from ABB the last 10 years has been best music in the last 25.. Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes are the real deal and no one disputes that... When you have those 2 driving your band you're in good hands.. Glad the band went out while still sounding great!
