Reminds me of a game in New Orleans - against Tulane. 13-5

Early in the season.

EVERY team has one or 2 of these along the way. Win - even when everything isn't fitting all together.


I listened to that Tulane game on the roof of my parents house in NC - using an am radio my Dad had as an undergrad at Clemson.

Hearing Jim Philips tell me about Dale Hatcher hitting the scoreboard with a kicked ball that had only been done by RAY FREAKIN' GUY prior to Dale.


The next week - beat the leghumpers 13-3.


This game has NO bearing on the next one - except for injuries.


You crybaby keyboard heroes should be ashamed.

I had an older tiger fan say the same thing to me as I left the stadium tonight. Telling me it felt just like the Tulane game in 81.
