I hope so. He is a good player and seems like a good young man. With a chance to blossom under the coaching of a guy like Cutcliff I think he will do well

thought that Hunter Johnson would struggle and be benched at Northwestern either, so who can predict?
Chase still has two years to make his mark before coming out for the draft. (Unless he has a Mitch Trubisky type year at Dook, and the pro scouts swoon again over a one year wonder like they did Trubisky.)

Northwestern runs an offense that would be considered conservative back in the Stone Age. In retrospect it was a poor choice for Hunter.

Northwestern was his second choice when choosing Clemson.
I doubt he had re-evaluated since his Jr. year of high school. Undoubtedly the situation had changed since his previous recruitment.
Maybe he's happy. If he's not 100% committed to football, a free degree from Northwestern can go far.

is spoiled by being WRU. Johnson threw some passes that would have been caught by a Tiger, but they went off of the fingertips of the NW receivers.

Yep . I think CB will be similar to Tar Heels QB Sam Howell who turned out to be a jewel for Mack and the boys .

Because he was a grad transfer after 3 years, and he Red Shirted his first, yes, he has 2 years of eligibility.
He's a little small and immobile for the pros, but yes, he's already proven he's a baller. He should be a very good college QB with a Cutcliffe chance as a professional.
Not only did he give us 4th-and-6 to Tee, but he followed that up with the can't-touch-this run that required a gang of tacklers that couldn't strip him. He was feeling it that day!

Chase is a winner. I really hope he does well. He was clutch when our boys needed him.
