Schedule sucks...

What else from a fan standpoint is there to say? As a season ticket holder we have 2 FBS home games that are social events, then the other home games are not exactly night prime time matchups (at least not now) and SC is in their house so... hope we can at least go back to full house ... miss the energy in the stadium last season.
Friday games? Why do we agree to a Friday game?

Friday night college football games in the south are stupid. A good portion of the fanbase has high school Friday night games to attend.
That being said, I seem to remember reading somewhere that all ACC are required to play a Friday night game every so many years. Clemson puts it off as long as they can.

Clemson is on record as hating Friday night games of any kind, as well as Thursday home games. But we are under contractual obligation with the ACC to play our fair share. Contracts aren't always approved with unanimous consent.

for most of the people there. Otherwise, we wouldn't get 80,000 fans to show up. Take away the friends, family, tailgating, etc., and you would have far fewer people there.

Agreed, I crave the big time games and the only one on the schedule is Georgia, the rest of the ACC is a bunch of tomato cans. I watch the tomato can games, but find myself checking other games and not really paying attention. Maybe some of the ACC teams will be ranked when we play them, but as of right now, it's a boring schedule. I want games that would merit a Game Day consideration.

The Georgia game should merit a Game Day consideration. Don't you think?

I'll just be thankful if we have a full season whenever they are played .

I'm just happy we HAVE a football schedule (even if 2 of our opponents are better known for women's basketball.)

I know they are down at this time, but FSU is still the home game I would like to see. After last years antics, I think the Tiger Band should play Deguello before and during the game. Friday nights use to be big in the Mid West for high school football. That is why those MAC games do not draw large crowds.

I am a Clemson lifer and alumni. Our 2021 home and away schedule is really hard to get excited about other than Georgia in Charlotte. Honest truth. It’s weaker this year than 2020. It’s good to see a 12 game schedule being planned. Let’s just hope we have a full season and 50% capacity atleast in Memorial Stadium.
