SCAR fans hopes and dreams cling to this baseball team

Every preseason prediction article has picked the football team to finish 5th out of 7 in the East with a losing record, except for 1 who projected 4th & 6-6.

If you happen to find someone who will listen to them talk intelligently about women's basketball, they still have a few more years of undefeated ball to play before even holding a candle to recent UCONN teams. And really, who cares?

Frank Martin's basketball team is getting flushed down the toilet faster than his vocabulary during a timeout.

The Baseball team has talent, and will undoubtedly make the postseason, but the magic that won back to back titles is sitting in nice plush office with a tie on making important decisions like how big the banner of Conner Shaw should be at Billy Brice. They will not win it all and will be considered a failure.

They used to be a baseball school.

Now they are a women's basketball school.

For a team that has owned Clemson the last decade or so in baseball, that is probably not the sport we want to ding them on.

Give them a break, they have won a national champ in baseball and actually won back to back. Not too shabby and their teams have actually had decent kids on them.

Now football, a few decent years doesn't represent the total package and is fair game, baseball, not so much

The 93mph pitcher from summerville who wanted Clemson bad, coach is even big clemson fan, flipped to scar recently after he had already committed to tigers as a sophomore.

That should tell you everything you need to know about the status of both baseball programs.
