Would also love to see Joey Chestnut throw down on some BBQ!!!!!!! Did I hear Chestnut correctly??? While chatting with Dabo, Joey said he has eaten 80 slices of pizzas at one setting?!!!!!!!

You sound like a total hater. I was raised up on Shealy's in Batesburg, which is a great meal, but Smokin' Pig is pretty dang good for an current upstate citizen. Beats the brakes off of Mutt's or Little Pigs or Pompous Pig. If you haven't tried the Loaded Potato Casserole or the Sweet Potato Crunch or the Brunswick Stew at Smokin Pig, you are missing out. The Ribs are excellent as well. Just my opinion.

of those people...But they definitely use frozen Sysco sides and they definitely cook and holdover, so where exactly is the jealousy?

I would agree. It’s good. But great, no. Best in state, not a chance. The fact soooo many get it for ease at tailgates and proximity to campus is there largest benefit.

Had some amazing bbq near lake city once. Pisses me off can’t remember the exact place or name. Had a spicy vinegar sauce on the pulled pork. Absolutely amazing

Possibly?? It was a very peppery vinegar based sauce with a slight heat. Absolutely fantastic.
