Don't think I'll be seeing hammers for a while

May 7, 2017, 2:31 AM

You think planning a wedding is hard?
You think marriage is hard?
You think 1 kid kid is hard?
You think 2 kids is hard?

I think greenr and those with more are complete maroons.

This 2 kid thing ain't no joke

It gets easier.

May 7, 2017, 4:56 AM

And then it gets harder again.

But eventually it gets a little easier.

This is night 1 at home

May 7, 2017, 5:09 AM

Luckily have lots of family around to help.

Just a whole new feeling hearing crying outta 2 bedrooms. And both want mommy, one can say it and one just wants milk teddies

May 7, 2017, 9:56 AM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

With one kid, parents can tag team - "it's your turn" LOL

May 7, 2017, 11:52 AM

with two it is one on one - constant, three means zone defense. We never made it to three.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-15yr.jpgringofhonor-fatherg-110.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yep, i've always said that TWO is exponentially more work

May 7, 2017, 12:10 PM

than ONE

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

One could almost say it is DOUBLE the amount of work***

It's far more than you can handle.

May 7, 2017, 12:06 PM

I suggest waiting for that one brief moment where everyone is asleep, then pack the few belongings that will fit into a bandana, tie it to the end of a stick, and steal away into the night resigning yourself to a lifetime of riding the rails as a hobo, always on the move with no further contact with the friends and family of your previous life.

Third on the way in September.

May 7, 2017, 3:48 PM

Toss in 2 parents in medical care facilities (one just off hospice), and running a business.

But being an only child makes it easier.

Easy peasy.

We didnt have problems with two. Although

May 7, 2017, 4:44 PM

First was 7 when our second was born. Now going from two to three seemed to be a different ball game. So we had 10 and 3 then newborn.

I totally understand man. I thought you were nuts when you said you might be able to make it out. God speed my friend! I will be right there with you first week in August.

2024 purple level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

we went from 1 to 3 as well

May 8, 2017, 8:12 AM

Fluff's got a point. I've been thinking about it for a while. My fuse is much shorter on a slightly hungover and sleep deprived day.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Try six.

May 7, 2017, 11:24 PM

The big ones care for the little ones. After three you don't much notice the additions other than the money.

Re: How was ACA?***

May 8, 2017, 8:36 AM

It was ite. The layout planning was great but it seems like the food regresses every year. Next year will probable be cheese and crackers

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

1 was hard, until we had 2. 2 made 1 seem like a dream.

May 8, 2017, 8:15 AM

Then we had the 3rd. That made 2 seem like a breeze. Early on it sucks cause baby wants momma and that makes other one(s) want momma too.

2024 purple level memberringofhonor-greenr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

2 yr old is like little mama shadow

May 8, 2017, 8:34 AM

And newborn parrot

He cries, she cries just cus.

Is it too early for a drink?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The difference between having one kid

May 8, 2017, 8:23 AM

and two kids is like you're drowning and somebody hands you a baby.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I like your funny words magic man

then going from 1 to 3 must be like you're drowning

May 8, 2017, 8:27 AM

and somebody steps on your head? Sometimes it feels about like that.

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This seems like MORE of a reason to see hammers.

May 8, 2017, 8:50 AM

and often.

Jebus, if my wife showed up knocked up (and it was mine) I think I'd off myself in anticipation of what my next 20 years would be like.
