Can Jeffries play TE?

With all of the young DT talent coming in and the coaches saying Jeffries is too small at 270, could he lose 20 pounds and play TE? That was his offensive position in high school. I'm not sure of his speed, but I feel like he could be a monster blocker and maybe sneak him the ball, now and then.

Want to say he was back up to 286 by the end of spring

But I would think they’d try the Leggett route of recruiting a big WR and having him put on weight rather than the inverse

I think we can stay in enough 3x1 sets and the fridge package early enough to let L. Jay come along for the long haul.
