Good for Ben to make himself available to the public and make some money off of it.
BUT, this is NOT a free event. His agent has been peddling these events all over the state at a price of $5,000. This North Charleston event is the first one where I've seen a location take on the price.

This from the facebook page of The Fan Zone Charleston:
"Don't miss your chance to meet future NFL star Ben Boulware (Clemson National Championship team). He will be at The Fan Zone on Saturday February 18th from 5-7 and Sunday February 19th from 11-1. Signature fee of $20 for just a signature, and $25 if you want it personalized. We have items available to purchase, or you can bring your own. Fee is per item. Authenticity paperwork and photo will be $10. Please call the store or message us on facebook with any questions. 843-744-7742"

Hopefully Ben worked out a good deal with his agent on these events. I am not for paying college athletes, but with all the exposure and money he has generated for Clemson on the gridiron, I have no problem with this and think he deserves it!
