Perspective on recruiting rankings - Fields vs. Lawrence

Who cares if Fields is ranked above Lawrence on ESPN's recruiting rankings... We got our guy! You may recall where Deshaun was ranked overall in 2014. #82 overall according to 247 Sports. There were SIX QBs in that class ranked ahead of him:

Jerrod Heard (Texas) LOL
Clayton Thorson (Northwestern)
Will Grier (Florida) LOL
David Cornwell (Alabama) - WHO???
Keller Chryst (Stanford)
Kyle Allen (aTm)

Would we have traded him for any one of those? HELL NO. Good luck to Mr. Fields and UGA. I have a feeling we will get a chance to see Fields and Lawrence on the field together sometime in the next three seasons...

I totally agree...both are great players. Lets move on.

And I think we will be seeing each other soon...if not next month. But who knows what will happen.

You may be right. I am interested to see how UGA's defense handles Oklahoma. I think a good defensive front can disrupt Mayfield and that offense. Should be a good one.
