Our defense without Boulware...

This won't be popular but he was a liability for us.
He is an NFL's perfect practice team guy with his motor and leadership abilities, but he still isn't good enough for an NFL organization to keep him around.
We are a much more difficult matchup for teams with DOD, Joseph, and Lamar rotating around depending on the offensive personnel.

Ben was an awesome leader, smart, and a lot of the time it seemed like he knew the exact play the offense was going to run. I think the defense as a whole is better, if that's possible, than last year.
Especially the LB and secondary

Ben played his heart out and did an excellent job. Defense did not miss a beat when he graduated. Why talk bad about him? Your point?

Last year's team was very different from this year's The team last year was built around a mega-star. This year it's built around the strength of several players. Nothing wrong with either way - in fact it's a testimony to the coaches to recognize the differences and make each a winner. No point in saying negative things about ANY players who are part of a team who have accomplished what these have in the past 3 years.....They're all winners in my book...

I think you are right. We had a hard time covering RB's coming out of the backfield. We seem to do better with that now. I think Boulware was sometimes at fault for blowing that coverage.
