On Renfrows long TD run...

Did anyone else think that last player that came in from the left was going to blow him up. I seriously thought all of his attention was to his right and he didn't see this guy...then his final juke just lets this guy run past...beautiful run.

That's exactly what happened... Renfrow remimds me of how Larry Bird use to know where everyone around him was. Awareness that few have.

I didn’t see that, but once he got in the open field I thought I saw a red throwing a flag (assuredly for block in the back) and bc of that my mind began to portray Renfrow as slowing down as if he knew it would be called back.

Play ends, no flags! He wasn’t slowing down bc he was giving up on the play, he was slowing down bc he’d already beaten everyone and no need to expend useless energy on them!

That face mask at the start, though unfortunate, actually played a part in him getting the ol Madden spin move that helped the rest of the run.Love seeing the endzone angle where Renfrow does the next juke that has one defender take out 3 others and you see them toppling over like bowling pins.Good stuff.

Yep, without the facemask he doesn't score. The facemask spun him around. Otherwise he was heading into two defenders.
