It will take a decade to come back from this recruiting debacle, best case. Chickens are 94th, behind the likes of Jackson St, Georgia Southern, Rice, Ball State, UTSA and North Texas for Christ's Sake...

because they had 7 players from the transfer portal to offset recruiting. We should all be so lucky to get transfers from Georgia Southern, St. Francis, and Delaware.

To be fair, Jordan Stachan is phenomenal. He led the nation in sacks this year. Of course, they had 10 players enter the transfer portal, including some starters, so I doubt he offsets the losses.

but reserving judgment until he plays against competition that is going to be better than what he sees in the Sunbelt Conference seems prudent.

At the end of the day, he was a two-star prospect coming out of high school and generated very little recruiting interest which is why he ended-up walking on at Georgia State.

The coots are definitely "cycling in"...the only trouble is that they are using a unicycle, while the rest of us are using bicycles...
