No way FSU and Clemson go to the Big12(big problem)

without other teams from the ACC like Miami, Ga Tech, VT, NC ST. The problem is i don't think any of these teams want to leave the ACC. They are all pretty happy in the ACC for now. VT even came out and said they are not going anywhere, not even the SEC.
If FSU and Clemson leave, then the ACC picks up Uconn or even maybe ND or Louisville.
That would be a problem b/c FSU and Clemson would be on a island far away from the central part of the big12. We would be playing Championship games in Dallas? Not good for recruiting.
Clemson and FSU only go if there is a package deal for east coast teams.

It could be clemson fsu and maybe mia or gt down the road when nd joins. Also their are about 6 acc school wanting a seat at the big 12 table.

Why would they add value to a league that's backloaded at 17mill/year(will be much less when CU/FSU leave), when they can add their value to a league that will pay around 25mill/year + 3rd tier rights.
UNC fans are the only ones that think N.Dame will come in and save the ACC....It ain't happening

Clemson and FSU better hope that Miami and GT will join them in the Big 12. Create an eastern division with two others.

yea good luck getting nc state to separate from unc. they are part of the same university system and will always be kept in the same athletic dept. nice try though.

UNC isn't going to stick around in a conference that their former AD destroyed so they can play play field hockey with Wake and Duke. IF three or more football schools bolt the ACC for the Big 12, then UNC bolts to the Big 10. Bank it.

If the Big 12 can't get 2 big boys either from the ACC or potential ACC expansion targets (ND) then they can't justify their TV deal. Without that big TV deal with FOX then Big 12 is one of the lower TV deals and probably implodes. The ACC, SEC, Big 10 and Pac 10 can gobble them up.
If the Big 12 can get 2 big boys from the ACC or blocks ACC expansion then the ACC implodes.
The Big 12 is stable in theory only. And they have a very small window to shore themselves up.
