I've been reading "keys to victory" by various pundits for more years than most of you have lived. They remind me of Chinese sausage, it's mostly sawdust used as a a filler. One of the basic things a team learns as soon as fall practice begins is the keys to victory, that's why they practice. There is only one key to victory and that is to outscore your opponent. It doesn't matter how perfect the team plays or how bad the team plays, it's the points on the scoreboard that determine the winner. A team may claim a moral victory by playing a near perfect game and lose, but championships are won by those teams that have the most points on the scoreboard. I hope the Tigers have more points on the scoreboard today than Notre Dame.
