Maybe a good soul will help your friend but if you check stub hub prices right now, he’s not getting close to lower for his budget. Big demand, big dollars.

I agree. Some people are asking high dollar amounts. However, please remember you don't know all situations. For example, I see many people on Tnet asking for "face value" tickets. A lot of "I can see paying slightly over face value but more than that is RIDICULOUS." I've seen so many of these I feel the need to mention where someone on the other side may be coming from...
For example. I am not an iptay donor (I did not go to Clemson). I am from NY, went to a small college with no football, and have been a Clemson fan since the Woody Dantzler days (as early as I remember). My first game in Death Valley was on my birthday against the Yellow Jackets. I'll never forget a bad snap over the Clemson punter's head as the team completely unwound under Tommy Bowden and then Calvin Johnson caught a fade (over Tye Hill or Justin Miller) with seconds left to win the game.
I went to Glendale for the first natty loss to Bama, went to Tampa for the win, and had a family engagement and couldn't attend the last win. Each year I find a way to obtain tickets if I can go. This year I paid cfp-rsvp.com a "reservation" fee for the RIGHT to buy a face value ticket. So yes, the face value is $425, but I basically gambled my hard earned dollars for the RIGHT to buy a ticket. The reservation was $500 per ticket. So, just to clarify, I paid $2000 for the right to buy 4 tickets. When i listed my extra pair of tickets on Tnet I asked for 1,000 a ticket. Yes, it is above face value. But i didn't pay face value. I also don't think it's crazy i'm asking for a $75 premium per ticket for putting up 2,000 months ago just to go (If the Tigers didn't make this game, I would've been out $2,000).
Please be aware that when I went to Tampa, we were scammed, got into the stadium, and were later kicked out of our seats (luckily it ended up working out). But to all the people on the board telling Clemson fans "you'll be fine, ticket prices will go down", please be careful. If you're looking at the number of tickets available on stubhub, the quantity has shrunk from 8,000+ on Sunday to 3,500+ today (this is how many pairs of tickets are available). Tampa prices were $2,000+ fees on the day of the game in Tampa. Yes, I hope i'm wrong and everyone here gets in for basically free, but some people aren't out here to screw people over.
I understand this situation is not the same for everyone and some people did pay face value and are asking ridiculous amounts. I really WANT to help out another Tiger fan. I don't want to sit next to LSU fans all game, obviously. But not everyone is here to screw people over with their asking price.

Never did i say this would be equivalent to Tampa. I just think people should be careful assuming they're definitively going to get cheaper tickets.
