from his rule about committed recruits taking visits to other schools? it is avery difficult rule to understand if it applies to different people in different ways. i understand why he has the rule, but why have it if you are not going to inforse it on everyone instead of a select few? does it actually hurt more than it helps?

And like most such agreements it will vary based on the kid and how upfront the kid is with him.

The rule is on official visits. When the recruits tell him up front they want to visit a school at other times, it's different. There wall all that talk about a top recruit taking all those visits while committed to clemson, but the facts are he ended up taking two or three official visits in the weekends just before signing day.

If the recruit commits and promises not to visit anywhere else - then Dabo promises that recruit that his spot will be there on signing day.

If the recruit commits, but wants to take other visits - then Dabo takes the "commit" but lets the recruit know that he'll keep trying to fill that position...so that recruit's spot may or may not be there on signing day.
