ACC per their forums. And they seem to want it as the best alternative.

I am not crazy about this for Clemson or the other football schools but looks like we might as well suck it up and hope for the best.

There's always that qualifier thrown in. Today, there is no reason for them to join for football (as "CU at the Finish Line" has pointed out about 100 tomes today, lol). A few years from now, when things are different, we'll see...

deal with Notre Dame included they better pony up. Acting like they're fine how they are (even though they would join) making ESPN have to make them an offer they can't refuse. Just speculation on my part as to why they may be saying that.

All they have to play for is a national championship. If they lose one/two games then thats shot and they have nothing else to play for other than a good bowl game. At least if they were in a conference they could play for a conference championship without having to go undefeated most every year.
