MTEN: Wake Forest Tops Tigers

Clemson, S.C. -- (release) Clemson (7-10, 1-7 ACC) fell, 7-0, to Wake Forest (20-4, 7-1 ACC) on Friday evening. The Tigers fought hard in doubles but dropped the point with consecutive losses at lines one and three. In singles, the Demon Deacons jumped out to an early lead, clinching the match with three-straight wins. On Court 4, Ryuhei Azuma took the first set against Rrezart Cungu, 6-3, but dropped the second frame, 3-6, before ultimately falling 6-3, 2-6, 8-10.

Of Note:

The Tigers fall to 43-37 all-time against the Demon Deacons
Jorge Plans Gonzalez's singles win streak is snapped at five matches
Up Next:

The Tigers return to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. when they face No. 21 NC State at The Duckworth Family Tennis Facility.
