I'm watching the Cardinals vs Dodgers game and the announcers are doing an interview with a dodgers infielder as the game is live. Like he's running around the field answering questions.

Is this new bc it's very wild to see?

They started this a couple of years ago and I like it but can’t imagine actually doing it as a player. It gives real insight to the game especially depending on who is asking the questions.

I'm guessing a team would disallow it if a fielder screwed up big time while answering questions.

In my opinion, MLB is doing too many interviews. Takes away from the game.
