Some think they are cursed.
One fan said he ordered Domino’s Pizza for supper and that why they lost.
Their Defense is just bad and the D staff needs an overhaul. Said the bad defense finally caught up with them.
Very embarrassed to lose to USCjr. (they call them that too) Say USCjr. is a bad team and Vols were favored by 3 touchdowns. They made Rattler look good.
Said the field conditions were horrible. Not really using that as an excuse, but said it was filled with sand and may be why Hooker was injured.
They hate the orange helmets and never want to see them again.

Watched the Knoxville local news last night and the sports guy made it sound like Hooker's injury was the reason for the loss. Not much said at all about the pathetic Defense. Total Denial.

This shows 2 things. Anything can happen on any given Saturday and home field in college football can be a huge advantage. Look at some of the totally unexpected wins that teams have had at home this year.

What it really shows is the participants in the CFP should be determined by rules. Rules like all the other sports use to determine teams in a playoff. No more subjective opinions that Tenn. would beat Clemson by two touchdowns. I want it where a blind man can tell me what teams are in without any biased person spouting "eye test" as a criterion.

Seems like, as far as Tennessee and Clemson are concerned, the system is working. As of yesterday neither were projected to be in the top 4. Clemson won and is still alive. Tennessee lost and is out.

Tennessee got beat up physically in that game. SC gave a bunch of cushion against the deep ball and Tennessee didn't seem to throw enough screens. Jokes on them because we don't have a deep ball and we'll screen you to death. Bwahahaha
