Probably should have explained my response in more detail. As I posted in another thread can't read too much in wins and losses, or rankings for that matter until you get into the meat of the schedule.

I stand by my opinion that I think this team has a good chance to be special. Tcu being a good example. Ranked 15th and 1 loss knocked them out the rankings. Saying, overall, we look to have some good pieces. But we won't know until later in the year how "good " or how "bad " our wins and losses are/were.

Nice win for the boys. Glad they could salvage our weekend.

Can't imagine a Power 5 basketball program starting out 0-7 like Cal has, especially with all the soft pre-conference scheduling that's out there.

Thr Penn State game in the ACC-BIG Ch coming up at home should show how consistent this team is now playing good teams closely after the Iowa game. Penn Stste is considered a sneaky good team from BIG that could be an Tourney team. Only loss it a very close loss to Va Tech team in the Charleston Classic, and has wins over good teams in Furman and Colorado State. Have a really good backcourt.
