I have an old credit card I use for thousand$ every month. In person I only do cash, but buy most things from the internet as it is cheaper with more choices, and I get 5% back. The postal employees hate me, but that is another post.

My old credit card had my old land line number. Every month for years I log in, get the secret code by email, look it over, and pay my bill. I never carry a balance as I understand that.

A couple months back they will only send secret codes to log in to a phone, not email. I have been locked from my account except to pay. There was no way on line or on phone to change the old phone number so I could get the secret code.

Today braved kung flu and drove over to the nearest branch - Clemson.
After a wait got to see a a kid sporting a flat top and a beard.
These days I dread trying to communicate with folks in charge. I know the labor pool is crap, but --- !!

In no time the kid understood and maybe fixed things. He checked some things as I got two property tax receipts, had no idea if I was charged twice. He seemed to be thinking ahead of me which is impossible. He impressed me. Clemson folks are the best.

After went to the feed store for a hundred #s of millet. It was up $20 over last year.
