Well disappointing day all the way around. I just knew after that devastating fb game that Jacob would be a little pick me up... so sad to see him post a +3 on moving day.
He's started bad again today. Just looking at the scores, most doing good have taken advantage of the front 9.
Jacob can't make birdies the whole tournament. What kept him in it was the phenomenal scrambling ability. That crashed Saturday. He just parred 4. He's now -1 on 10 par 5's he's played. Not a good recipe for a dub. Was hoping he'd change that today.

Very disappointing. The young phenomenal player rose Zhang got schooled. Ouch. But she is going to be one of the best. Too bad we didn't have a Tiger playing.

great amateur Match player, also got beat. Ciganda taking down Korda may look like an upset on paper, but Korda has never returned to form since being out with a back injury. Congrats to Team Europe, and we'll see them on home soil in two years to try again.

next year, it appeared Jacob just went through the motions and finished . . . After today’s +4 Round, he fell into a 3-way T-18th Place . . . Earning him $21,000.00 . . . a far cry from the $270,000.00 “Ding Dong” earned for winning.
