IDK Maybe not right away but putting SMU in a power conference may be waking a beast. That is if the ACC remains a power conference which is very much up in the air at this point.

You wont hear the fight song in DV. Theyre used to playing in 40,000 seat HS-sized stadiums at UNT and Texas State.

This is SMU football:

Riding your bike with your buddies over to the stadium, as I did as a kid, walking in for free, and watching them lose.

They have no business in P5 ball. They cant recruit at that level.

Ha. They will buy a bigger band if they need too. They have the coins to do it.

I watched one of their pregame bands. The sound is pretty strong for a small band. So is Furman.

SMU will be a very competitive football team in the ACC because of all the recruits in Texas but I don't know their song. I think the Wake song is one of the best.
