I preface this by saying that I don't go to every game and missed a few years by not being around Clemson baseball when I lived away and saw some firsts last night.
In all my years of being a player, coach and fan, last night was the first time I saw a starter and reliever both throw 97 and 99 pitches back-to-back in one game.
Also, it's the first time at the college level, I saw 3 pitchers in the same game for the same team hit 98 mph on their fastballs.
In addition, I don't remember ever seeing, a team throw double digit (10) pitchers in a game.
Lastly, I have never seen a player thrown out of a game for talking to an opposing player while running off the field. BTW the umpire, Angel Campos, that tossed Cam was booted out of the MLB in 2014 after 7 years. He also had a few tossed player incidents in MLB. Just ask Ned Yost, Jack Kemp, Joe Blanton and others what they think of him.
